Anne studied Law and French at the University of Liverpool and the Sorbonne before qualifying as a solicitor at Manches in 2000, before moving to Hughes Fowler Carruthers. Before co-founding the firm with Joe Vaitilingam, Anne was at Mishcon de Reya.

- Anne represented a wife in high-profile and complex financial proceedings in which the husband attempted to fraudulently conceal his legal interest in the family home in a sham-trust arrangement with his father, which involved forged documents. The forgeries were exposed by Anne’s team with the assistance of forensic expert evidence.
- Anne successfully appealed a decision in relocation proceedings (“leave to remove”) thereby enabling her client and her three children to move overseas.
- Anne successfully represented a father in court proceedings where a mother sought to move their three children to another part of the UK, a move which the father felt would impact their schooling and jeopardise his relationship with them.
- Anne represented the mother of a child with profound autism in proceedings against her former husband in relation to the child’s medical treatment and her proposed home-schooling programme.
