“Clear legal advice, common sense and emotional understanding”
“Extremely professional and thorough”
Katie’s practice covers all aspects of financial issues that follow a divorce or separation. She works with both married and unmarried couples, including those with high net worth and modest assets. Her work covers complex issues such as trusts, undisclosed, offshore assets, and multi-jurisdictional cases, as well as advising clients in pre and post-nuptial agreements.
She has phenomenal expertise in dealing with difficult cases concerning children, including those involving parental alienation, significant welfare issues and allegations of harm. She is regularly involved with cases in which domestic abuse and challenging behaviour are factors and works sensitively with vulnerable clients, with an awareness of the nuances which often characterise these relationships.
Katie has been working exclusively in family law since 2011. She qualified in 2015 and worked at highly regarded London and regional family law firms before joining us. She is a member of Resolution.
Katie works sensitively and compassionately with all of her clients. She brings those skills to her mediation practice and is part of the VK Mediation Team. Katie is passionate about supporting and encouraging clients to achieve their objectives this way.
