Kate has a breadth of experience in all areas of family law, with a particular interest in financial matters and international relocation proceedings (applications brought by parents to move their children overseas) as well as general child arrangements.
She is regularly involved in financial cases involving complex assets and family business interests, as well as re-negotiation of existing maintenance orders. This can involve highly detailed work retracing changes in legal principles and personal circumstances. She is also experienced and regularly instructed in advising on pre- and post-marital agreements and cohabitation agreements.
Before joining us in 2015, she worked in the family team at Irwin Mitchell for 10 years, initially as a paralegal and then later qualifying as a solicitor in 2012.
Kate studied Law and Criminology at Cardiff University and took her professional examinations at the College of Law in London, where she gained a distinction. She is a member of Resolution.
These are some of Kate's testimonials from family law professionals, previous clients and journals that regularly review practising lawyers.
